Overview

Vendorful's MS Word Add-In allows you to access the Vendorful AI Assistant right in the context of a Microsoft Word document representing an RFP, DDQ or other business questionnaire.

To use the Microsoft Word plugin, a Microsoft Office Administrator for your organization must enable the add-in.

Access the Add-In

Click the Vendorful icon in the Microsoft Word toolbar to access the plugin:

You will need to log in the first time you use the MS Word Plugin, and may need to log in again periodically:

Using the Microsoft Office Add-In

The Microsoft Office Plugin give you access to the "Ask the AI" feature inside a Word document. There are several ways to make use of it.

If you wish, you can simply type something in the "Question" box of the Word Add-In and get an immediate answer.

But the best way to use the MS Word PlugIn is to start by highlighting a question in the document, then clicking "Use Selected Text as Question":

Once the Microsoft Word Add-In has given back an answer, you can immediately insert it in the document right at the cursor location by clicking (surprise!) "Insert Answer at Cursor":

Then highlight another question, get another answer, insert it, highlight another, and so on.
