Sometimes when you are working on completing a questionnaire, you will want to include other people in the process. While the Vendorful AI Assistant can generate a first draft, you will 1) want to answer any questions it didn't answer and 2) review all of the generated answers. Remember, the goal is to have your focus be reviewing, not writing. But that reviewing should always happen.
You can certainly assign questions/answers to co-workers, but what if you want to guide them or ask them specific questions? And what if they have questions or comments for you? That's where collaborating commenting comes into play.
Using Comment Threads
If you want to create a comment thread in the Vendorful AI Assistant, all you need to do is click the comment thread icon. It's circled in the image below.
If you see a number next to that icon, it means that a comment thread already exists and the number represents the number of comments that have been added. Here's what an icon looks like when there is a single comment:
Whether you are creating a new comment thread or accessing an existing one, the user experience is quite similar. A window with the comment thread will open up on the right side of the screen. While you are in "comment mode," part of the answer review page will be temporarily obscured. Once you've exited the comment by clicking the "x" in the upper right corner of the comment window, the main review page will be revealed again.
Adding comments is as simple as putting text into the comment box and clicking the "Add Comment" button.
It's worth noting that comments are organized from newest to oldest and that each is stamped with the date and time of publication and the user who created it. If you wanted to read the comments from beginning to end, you would start at the bottom-most comment and continue reading up the page.
