Even the most well-curated content library will eventually have some elements that become outdated or inaccurate as your business changes and grows.

Fortunately Vendorful makes it easy to find, delete and replace that outdated or inaccurate content.

Removing Outdated Content

Typically you will become aware of outdated content when you see it show up in an answer (for the purposes of this example we'll assume the company has moved its headquarters from Chicago to Boston).

When you spot an answer that appears to be out of date or inaccurate, click on it to drill down:

Then look at the "Generated Answer References" to see which pieces of content contain outdated information:

Click on the link to the content source to open it:

The whole source document will open, and the specific piece of relevant content will be at the top and highlighted. Click on the trash can icon to delete it from your library:

Then confirm that you want to delete it:

Repeat that process as many times as needed to remove the outdated and inaccurate content from your library.

Replacing Outdated Content With Accurate Information

Once you've removed all the outdated and inaccurate content associated with the specific answer or topic, go back to the Response and edit the answer with the correct and accurate information:

Then save it by clicking "Update Answer". On the main Response page, scroll to the top and click "Import Custom Answers into Content Library":

The updated answer will now be in your content library, and available for Vendorful's AI Assistant to use on future Responses:
