Replace an Existing Content Source With a New Version

Sometimes a content library will have outdated information that you simply want to remove, like an old completed RFP or RFI. But frequently there is an updated version of a source document that you want to use to seamlessly replace the old version, while preserving a record of the original so you can audit past questionnaire responses.


To replace an existing content source, first open up the Content Library and locate the original source document:


Then click the "Update Source" button on the top right of the screen:


The final step is to load the new version of the file. Note that the filename does not need to match the original, but the replacement document must be the same file type.
